LBP-1 হলো একটি ওষুধ যা মূলত অর্গানন কর্তৃক নিউরোপ্যাথিক ব্যথা বা স্নায়ুবিক ব্যথার চিকিৎসার জন্য তৈরি করা হয়েছিল।[1][2][3] এটি একটি শক্তিশালী এবং নির্বাচনী ক্যানাবিনয়েড রিসেপ্টর অ্যাগোনিস্ট হিসেবে কাজ করে। এটি CB1 এবং CB2 উভয় রিসেপ্টরের ক্ষেত্রেই অত্যন্ত কার্যকর, কিন্তু এটি রক্ত-মস্তিষ্ক প্রতিবন্ধক ভেদ করতে পারে না। এই বৈশিষ্ট্যের কারণে LBP-1 প্রান্তীয়ভাবে নির্বাচনী (peripherally selective) হয়। যদিও এটি নিউরোপ্যাথিক ব্যথা এবং অ্যালোডিনিয়া-র প্রাণি মডেলে কার্যকর ছিল, তবুও পরীক্ষিত কোনো মাত্রাতেই এটি কেন্দ্রীয় প্রভাবের ইঙ্গিতবাহী ক্যানাবিনয়েড-সদৃশ প্রতিক্রিয়া তৈরি করেনি।[4]
