যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে, ৩-ফিনাইলঅ্যাসিটাইলিনডোল (3-phenylacetylindole) শ্রেণির CB1 রিসেপ্টর অ্যাগোনিস্টগুলো, যেমন ক্যানাবিপাইপেরিডাইথানোন (cannabipiperidiethanone), শিডিউল ১ নিয়ন্ত্রিত পদার্থ (Schedule I Controlled Substance) হিসেবে গণ্য হয়।[3]
